Dec. 19th, 2003 12:17 amAll done with finals, at least for now, got three folders of four delivered yesterday (including, through the power of the Internet, finding a woman who I knew worked in Building 1 and whose name was something like "Ginny"
And I found her, with only about 5 minutes on the computer. Yay net-stalking!
The Greece final was fun. I took almost the whole three hours, and was the the third-to-last person to leave, but wrote about 14 pages of essays. =) I think I am going to miss Ostrow classes.
After the final, I met up with Ariel, hung out in Doomcom for a bit, and then went shopping. I ended up not buying a pretty skirt, but getting the shirt I needed for the Pops concerts, and buying a skirt suit for interviews. I hadn't intended to look for a suit, but the only suit-like thing I own is two sizes too big and was my mothers in the late 70s/early 80s. It's grey and pretty, and fits me really well --- I ended up calling my mother and grandmother to ask if $99 was a good price for a suit jacket-and-skirt, and buying it.
At least now when I have an interview or a wear-a-suit presentation, I won't have to settle for something that doesn't fit, and it was a good deal. =)
And I got an A in Concert Choir! (Not like I'm surprised, but yay!) For this one, shining moment, my term GPA is a 5.0
