Argh

Stupid Harvard Commencement.

I got to Harvard at 8, after going out of my way to get out of the house early, so I could get to MIT by 8:30.
Then I waited 30 minutes while the %&*$(#*#$ Harvard Law School marched across the street, staring at my bus trapped right behind the parade.
Then we got on the bus, and got stuck behind *another* parade of Harvard students.
We took a detour to avoid the third one--the normal bus route was totally unpasssable -- but I think that was planned. I can not believe that they get away with stopping traffic through the Square for that long...

This is simply ridiculous

MIT is not responsible for your child's death. Action was taken on her behalf by administrators trying to be fair to both students. Where were you, if you're such good parents?
MIT doesn't have psychics, and they don't run a babysitting service, they run a university.

Rargh.

I keep thinking I ought to polish a rant like this into something useful and send a letter to the Glob editors or something... maybe I'll do that.
